Patron said the Berlin City West area property, which it acquired from GE Real Estate and which is currently vacant, comprises three adjoining buildings on Franklinstrasse and Salzufer, and was formerly let to the Technical University of Berlin.

It said it offers “a unique redevelopment opportunity”, as it will allow Patron to offer large-floorplate office space (computer generated image, above) at a reasonable rate, something that it says is currently in short supply in Berlin’s City West sub-market.

What’s more, another developer’s commitment to develop a new office complex nearby has helped to establish the area in which the new Patron/Suprema property is located as “one of the most significant office centres in West Berlin”, Patron said in a statement.
