Pan-European property investor Patron Capital has picked up a 550,000-sq-ft Berlin office complex with local development partner Suprema.

Gemeinsam mit der Habermann Unternehmsgruppe hat die Suprema Vermögensverwaltung das New Fashion Plaza in Düsseldorf erworben und zum 1 Mai die Verwaltung übernommen.



Together with Patron Capital Partners, Suprema purchased Mollstraße 1 in the heart of Mitte, Berlin.  The building previously housed the seat of the GDR's press agency. Mollstraße 1 offers an historical structure in a unique location. Suprema has completely renovate the building, created modern offices and leased the building to Zalando AG.



Schroder Property has acquired an office building on Mollstrasse in Berlin's central district for €34mn. The property built in 1971 for East German news agency ADN has 16,000 sqm of office space. It was sold by institutional investor Patron Capital and its joint venture partner Suprema GmbH. The purchase was performed on behalf of Immobilien Europa Direkt, an investment group of Zürich Anlagestiftung. Schroder quoted the property's net initial yield at 6.6%. Angermann acted as a consultant. The ten-story high-rise has been refurbished and modernized and is leased for five years to Zalando.
